Groups are always welcome
to the Centre
With our dedicated room, you can have any private function, from a small conference to an educational visit. There is also disabled access with facilities.
Our aim is always to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all to enjoy. Mrs Dowson is CRB cleared and CEVAS qualified, and can give educational visits for pre-school children and evenings for adults.
Learning for Children
With a wide range of activities, children can learn keystage topics in a friendly, fun environment. Eg - making paper potters, planting seeds and learning the different parts of plants. These are taken home after the event. For pre-school, children play a paring game with photos to construct animals at the centre. Guess the ice cream flavour is always a favourite!
We can give talks on diversification, the history of the farm and cover a wide range of key stages, with work for the children to complete. A pre-visit is always advised, so that any particular topic can be covered.
Group Charges
A nominal charge is made as the Centre continues to grow and hopefully groups will return for future visits. The charge depends on the topics covered and the number of children. No charge is made for accompanying adults.
Special Party Packages are a Mrs Dowsons treat and
will be a fun-packed time. Please ask for information
as each party is dependent on the child.
Mrs Dowson will always try to make this an extra
special day, with the child having balloons
and party food all made on the
premises from local producers.
