We are a family run dairy farm that has diversified into making ice cream using milk from our own cows that you can see in the green pastures around the park. We are passionate about giving children (and adults alike) the opportunity to see, touch and even handle, under our handlers supervision, the experience of our animals. The pets parade includes rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils,domestic rats and our giant snails. These are built in special pens, so the little ones can see the animals in a safe enviroment. The bottle fed lambs are fed at timed intervells and ALL, both young and old, can enjoy this experience of feeding, one I'm sure will stay with you a long time. The larger animals can be seen both inside and out in their environments. The large green is just great for the children to run off their energy. The park has been built with one special feature, that it is safe for all. Whilst the experience outside is second to none, afterwards you can relax in the cafe while the children play in the indoor childrens area. Here you can enjoy a piece of homemade cake or even a cream scone and a beverage. Also dont forget to try a sample before buying some of the wonderful Mrs Dowsons Ice Cream.Our staff are always on hand to answer your questions and help you make the most from your visit. Dont ForgetWe welcome everyone to our Park but PLEASE remember our animals and their faecal matter can carry infectious diseases, the most widely known organisms being E.Coli 0157. In order to keep everyone safe, please always remember to WASH your hands in the sinks provided and to WASH your outdoor footwear in the wellie wash. Do not use gels!
